Black & White Leopard

I love a pair of pants that are lightweight because they are super comfortable for the summer.  I love the small leopard print on these pants because it is not as loud as most leopard prints.  A flirty peplum is the perfect addition to these fun pants.

Boyfriend Jeans

Making the switch from bell bottoms to skinny jeans was a change for the better, although I still have  a secret love for exaggerated bell bottom jeans, but then trying to adjust to boyfriend jeans was quite a challenge.  It took me a while before I finally adjusted and I love this pair particularly.  They defiantly have comfort on there side.  I feel a pair of heels also helps to give them a more feminine look.

Mommy Mondays - Link Up

Welcome to "Mommy Mondays", a day where us ladies get to share our stories of motherhood.  It's a day about our children, a day to share inspiring stories or horror stories, a day to share those words of wisdom, a day to just be a mommy and brag about our little ones, whatever you might have to say!  Just link up below and start bragging!

Yesterday was not an outdoors day due to the weather so we had some fun indoors.  Toys can only keep Aidan busy for so long these days since all he wants to do is walk around.  Unfortunately mommas back can only take that for so long!  But he took 5 steps on his own this week.  It will be any day now before he is running around on his own.  Let the games begin!

< he cracks me up every time he stands like this >

< his signature face, tongue always out >

Do you want to join me??  I'd love to have you!  Just follow the rules:

1.  Link to your specific blog post: not your blog's main page.
2.  Please link back here so your readers understand the link up and it will make me so very happy!  Grab a button from my sidebar :)
3.  Please only link posts related to the topic.  As much as I love seeing outfit and craft posts, this link up is for our mommy posts only, thanks!
4.  Check out as many other links as possible and see what other mothers have to say.  You are bound to find some great new blogs and other mommies you can relate to.

Accessorizing for Fall

Finding the right accessories is as crucial as finding the right outfit.  These little additions can sometimes make or break an outfit.  I could browse the Internet all day long searching for my next favorite piece of jewelry.  Only usually I end up with a wish list pages long.  Here are some of my latest finds that I am craving for fall.  Although I must admit I have splurged on a few of these items already!

I am a huge fan of vintage pieces of jewelry.  I love antique, one of a kind pieces.  I discovered these vintage watches after browsing Chrono24's Omega watch range and immediately fell in love!  I'm kind of obsessed with the first watch.  The art deco feel is so chic and feminine.  The third watch is simple and classic but I mean what woman wouldn't want to own a vintage Cartier watch!

Statement necklaces vs. simple necklaces.  What can I say I am a fan of both.  Recently I have been more attracted to simple gold pieces but these two statement necklaces are too gorgeous for words particularly the Stella and Dot bib necklace.

When it comes to earrings I definitely like to keep it simple.  Lately I have been eyeing some fancy ear cuffs and I am kind of head of heels for this Zara piece.  It's feminine and wild all at the same time.

Are you a gold or silver gal?  As you can see from most of my picks I am a gold girl.  The free as a bird bracelet from Gorjana is such a cute piece.  This is a piece that will probably be popping up in my outfit posts in the near future because I must have it.  I currently own the arrow bangle from Stella and Dot and it has become one of my staple pieces.  Its simplicity and delicateness is breathtaking in person.

And rings, you cannot forget those rings. I used to hate wearing rings.  They were just bothersome to me and now I practically wear one on every finger.  I am sure you have seen the trio ASOS rings around.  If not they are a definitely a hot item at the moment.

Black on Black

|  Dress worn as skirt: H&M  |  Top: Piperlime  |  Heels:  Zara  |  Clutch: Target  |  Watch:  Michael Kors  |  Bracelets: Stella and Dot  |  Rings: Gorjana  |  Sunglasses:  Karen Walker  |

I love a classic black look.  I am a big fun of vibrant colors and unusual patterns but every once in awhile a simple look wins.  It's pretty great when an article of clothing can be extremely versatile and that is exactly what this dress from H&M is (also seen here in cream).  You can just never go wrong with black!

Shades of Blue

|  Dress: H&M  |  Heels: Zara  |  Bracelets:  Stella and Dot  |  Rings: Gorjana  |  Earrings: Francescas  |  Sunglasses: Karen Walker  |

What better summer wear than a flowy, feminine maxi dress.  The neckline of this dress is what caught my eye while browsing the racks of H&M.  It was a perfect piece to add to my summer dress collection.  The sheerness of the dress allows for it to be perfect beachwear.  Not to mention it is breezy and the tie dye print adds a little spunk to the already gorgeous dress.  Simple accessories is all that is needed since the dress is a statement piece all in itself.

Hells Angels

|  Top: H&M  |  Shorts: Free People  |  Shoes: ASOS  |  Bracelets: Stella and Dot  |  Rings: Gorjana  |  Sunglasses: Karen Walker  |  Bag:  Target  |

Sometimes all you need is a casual pair of shorts, a comfy tee, and a pair of sexy heels to make you feel your best.  I am hopelessly in love with these denim shorts I bought from Free People.  They are by far the most comfortable pair of denim shorts I have ever owned.  I probably feel this way because they are not riding up my bum like so many shorts do these days.  Why must they may shorts so short!?!  Maybe this is why one of my students referred to these as my "mom shorts" but none the less I love them and will continue to rock them!
