Something that has been quite a challenge.
Upon returning to work it has been a struggle balancing the many titles I hold.
Teacher.
Mother.
Blogger.
Crafter.
Fiancee.
How do you manage to fit all these things into a 16 hour day. Yup that's right I make sure to get 8 hours of sleep a night. Well that is if my 4 1/2 month old allows it and thankfully he has been.
Because lets be real, my schedule is now his schedule.
I attempt to get all my "school work" done while I'm at work so I have every possible minute with Aidan once I get home. And basically that consists of 4 to 4 1/2 hours of mother/son time. Once the baby is asleep, I am left with about 2 hours to fulfill my other three titles. There is no possible way to blog, craft, and spend quality time with the soon to be hubby in only 2 hours. Oh yea did I mention I also need to do dishes, prepare lunch/dinner for the next day, and shower in this time. Do you see the challenge??
I love blogging and my Etsy shop way to much to give either of them up. So the goal is to find time to do ALL the things I love. Because everyone should find time in life to do the things they love. I just happen to love being a mother, a teacher, a crafter, a blogger, and a fiancee. I am making it my mission to find a balance which makes me happy, my fiancee happy and my son happy. Because lets face it, I'm not happy unless all three of us are happy. It may take some time but I am determined to find a balance that works for me. A balance that allows me to continue living the life I dreamed of. A balance that is fulfilling. A balance that is fair to me while being equally fair to my loved ones. Should I dare say the perfect balance? I most certainly will not because there will never be a perfect balance but there will be a balance that seems perfect to me.
Everyday it is incredibly hard leaving this little boy and allowing myself to do the other things that make me happy.
But beginning and ending all my days with this little face is a dream come true!

it would be hard for me to leave that face!
It's so hard to find the perfect balanace! i'm a stay at home momma of three and it's still hard for me to balance everything. I couldn't imagine having to leave my babies for hours a day! *hugs*
He is so cute! You went back to work quickly! I'm not sure if it's different where you are, but Canadians can take up to a year off if they want (even though the monthly cheques are crappy).
You are one busy mama!

You have the cutest little babay!
He is so cute !!!
I also found it hard to go back to work, have my blog, find time to play with my little boy (which is the most important to me!), and also for my husband...
That's an active woman/mum/blogger life :-)
Just found your blog. Somehow.... probably through another mom blogger. Anyway- I'm so glad to read this... it's like, you read my mind.
