Aidan's first Christmas was just as special as I expected. Although he had no clue what was going on, his presence added a joyous feeling to our Christmas festivities. It is crazy to think that next year at Christmas time he will probably be running around! Christmas morning was so much more exciting having a little one to share it with and as the years go on I'd imagine it only gets better. Christmas this year was filled with laughter and great memories.
So my uncle came to with eight gift cards for my aunt and asked me to be creative and make something with them. He suggested a wreath but that was just to easy! Since my aunt loves to shop (hence the eight gift cards) I decided to make "clutch" gift card holders. Next step was to figure out how to present them. My aunt loves Christmas trees so I made this tree with supplies lying around the house, glittered the mini clothes pins and hung the clutches as ornaments. I thought it was a cute, fun way to give someone gift cards!
And here are the placecards I made for Christmas!!
I'm a little obsessed with Christmas and absolutely love giving gifts so when I saw that Kelly of Messy Dirty Hair, Janna of Perception is Everything, & Tabithia of My Cliffnotes were putting together a Secret Santa Swap I knew I had to participate. It was such a fabulous idea, one to good to pass up! And I am so glad I didn't pass it up because look at the adorable gift I received. I mean who doesn't love a good pair of gloves and CHEVRON print, I mean come on it doesn't get much better. Can you tell I'm obsessed with anything chevron patterned. And you know what is even better I don't have to take these gloves off to use my iPhone, yay! I just pull down the mitten part, spectacular!! Thank you so much my secret santa, Tranae @ Becoming Fabulous!! I am absolutely in love with my new mittens.
Now it is time to reveal who I played Secret Santa too......Elise from That's Comma with a K!! I'm so glad to have discovered your cute blog and hope you enjoy your gifts!!
