Shine this Summer: Top Fashion Trends for 2012

Summer is a time for fun in the sun, hanging out with friends, and trying out new fashion trends to stay cool. This summer, women should consider trying new fashion and beauty trends to feel beautiful on the inside and out.  Summer 2012 promises fun styles in women's shoes, threads, and beauty. Being chic has never been so exciting!

One of the easiest ways for women to update their looks is to try out a cute summer shoe.  One option to try is a platform wedge, which can easily dress up or dress down an outfit.  Dressy sandals are always in style, so women can easily shop around to find great deals. Bright neon colors are in season, so combine them with your styles for some extra shine.  To make the look even better, women can also consider getting a pedicure to get their nails in prime shape for summer. Nothing better than pampering yourself at the nail salon-- and we all know when you look good, you feel great! Shoes and accessories are a great way to pull together any look.

What better to pair your shoes with than a cute skirt or dress?  As the temperatures begin to rise, women should consider dressing lightly to stay cool.  There are many options for dresses and skirts, ranging anywhere from the mini-skirt to the maxi-dress.  With so many different styles, it's easy for women to find a dress that is both flattering and comfortable.  Pair it with low-heeled sandals or flats, bangles and beaded accessories for a relaxed bohemian look. At night, the dresses or skirts can also be paired with a loose cardigan or shrug to stay warm. Pull down your summer shades and hit the beach, a yummy lunch date, or fun night festivities in style! 

Women can also consider changing up their makeup routines for the summer as well.  With the warm temperatures, comfort is always key.  Women can consider wearing a light tinted moisturizer, lip-gloss, and a bit of mascara for a cool, polished look. Keep the palate natural and warm for a sunny, beautiful face. Nude lips and a bright colored pump--sophistication and glamour at its finest.  

Above all, summer 2012 promises to be a fun time to try out new trends.  By varying shoes, clothing, and makeup, women can create a new look that works for the hot, humid months.  This is a great chance for women to pick out a new style, all the while feeling comfortable and confident with their new look.
